Our Hastelloy C276 is a versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum wrought alloy known for its exceptional corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments. In the context of hydrogen energy, this is critical. The alloy exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900°F (1038°C). More importantly for hydrogen applications, it offers excellent resistance to hydrogen embrittlement and attack from wet reducing gases, making it the ideal choice for components that store, transport, or process high-pressure hydrogen.
